Nora Fatehi Rejects Allegations Linking Her to Drug and Rave Party Probe

Mumbai : Actor Nora Fatehi has issued a strong rebuttal to recent media reports suggesting she was involved in drug-related rave parties allegedly connected to a Mumbai-based trafficker with links to Dawood Ibrahim’s family. Taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, she labelled the circulating claims as “lies” and stressed that she is repeatedly targeted without cause.
Reports had earlier claimed that Nora, along with other Bollywood figures—including Shraddha Kapoor—was present at parties organised by Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, a detained trafficker. These gatherings were also rumoured to have been attended by Dawood Ibrahim’s nephew, Alishah Parkar.
Nora Fatehi Speaks Out: ‘My Name Is an Easy Target’
In her message, Nora asserted that she maintains a disciplined, work-centred lifestyle and avoids party circuits entirely.
“I don’t attend parties. I’m always travelling and working. I don’t keep company with such people,” she wrote. She added that her downtime is spent either at home, on a Dubai beach, or with her long-time school friends.
“Don’t fall for misinformation. My name seems to be an easy target. People have tried to smear me before, and I stayed silent while they used me for clickbait.”
Firm Warning to Media Outlets
The actor urged media organisations to refrain from dragging her name into unrelated stories.
“Stop using my name and image in matters that have nothing to do with me. There will be serious consequences,” she declared.
Ongoing Investigation
The controversy originates from statements reportedly made by Shaikh, who was deported from Dubai last month and is currently in the custody of Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC). He allegedly claimed to have hosted parties attended by individuals from Bollywood and the fashion industry.
Although ANC officials have not dismissed the possibility of questioning celebrities named in his remarks, no official summons have been issued so far.
