IIMT organizes seminar with UNESCO on Ethical Finance and Responsible Investment.
Bhubaneswar : A seminar on “Ethical finance and Responsible Investment” was organized by IIMT, Kantabad in collaboration with UNENSCO today. Prof. Srikanta Patnaik , Chairman of IIMT introduced the guest focusing on the ethical finance and responsible Investment in different projects of the government pays high return. Joining the seminar through Zoom Link, Professor of National University of La Plata of Argentina and Director and UNESCO chair Professor Francisco Vigliarilo explained that there is a chance of opportunity to get higher return on ethical finance and responsible investment in projects operated by private and government agencies. Massimo Franchi, Senior Research Fellow, Department of law university of Modena Riggio of Argentina presenting the facts expressed that corporate responsibility and financial investment are both important for the corporate sector for accessibility of the local people. Participating in the debate Prof. Sanjib Kumar Jena, HOD of Commerce told that due to proper investment in developmental activities undertaken by Odisha government in KBK district it has been remarkable feature that the poverty of the people has been reduced. Attending the seminar Sri Ramakrishna Vuppulury, Charted Accountant and Director Medical Diagnostic Company, Hyderabad addressed that the mandatory rotation of auditing from time to time in corporate hospitals encourages the financial responsibility of the stake holders and it leads to provide proper medical facilities to the patients.
